Homeland Security is an umbrella definition for national security measures to bulwark the United States from the threat of terrorism. The United States Department of Homeland Security, also known as the DHS, is a Cabinet department of the government whose main duties are in accordance with both protection against terrorism and aid during a natural disaster.
